Le gouvernement néerlandais est fortement engagé en faveur des droits des personnes LGBTQI dans le monde entier et apporte un soutien financier aux ONG LGBTQI européennes, telles que IGLYO, ILGA Europe et Transgender Europe, ainsi qu'à travers les ambassades néerlandaises pour les organisations LGBTQI locales dans les pays où les personnes LGBTQI sont en danger.
