Moreover, one in three of these cases of LGBTQIphobia was experienced in the hands of family or friends, while one case in five occurred in a school environment and one case in five also involved verbal assault. In these cases, violence often derived from figures of authority.

SOS Homophobie est une organisation de la société civile qui fait office d'observatoire des violences LGBTQIphobes en France. Chaque année depuis 1997, SOS Homophobie publie son Rapport annuel sur les LGBTIphobies.
